Hand, Foot and Mouth - not fun

Once, when I was 5 years old, I woke up in the morning with chicken pox.  As I remember it, we were heading to Florida for Christmas and I come down with the pox.  Well a similar thing happened to our little Lockie on our vacation to Rayong.  He came down with Hand Foot and Mouth virus which presents itself as chicken pox but not as itchy but also can go into the mouth and make eating very painful.  As there is no vaccine for this virus, he had to endure the bumps and blisters and of course he wanted to share so Josh came down with it as well as Bec.  In the end everyone is cured I think and we will live another day to find another reason to head to the hospital to see Dr. Somyad once again.  We are already platinum members with his office.

A big day out - Bangkok Car Free Day

First time we took the boys with us on a bike ride through the city and joined 5,000 other bikers as Bangkok celebrated a "Car Free Day", almost.  Dodging traffic and keeping up with the other riders so not get clipped we headed to the Grand Palace with the boys in tow.  Lochie was quite the site as he took a nap amidst all of it.

Hey I got a new ride

Mummy bought a new ride for Lochlan and now he's ready to hit the streets of Bangkok.

We have a convert on our hands. Little Lochlan is now a lover of Din Tai Fung. Not sure if it's the dumplings or the view of the trains. Either way, we were able to have a great afternoon lunch with both boys enjoying the scene.

Lochlan's weekend in Rayong

A long weekend away from Bangkok for the Loch-star. He's still regulating his thermostat and in this 38C heat he is sweating and does appreciate the cool naps.  But with our crashing of the Marriott's pool and our vantage point on the 4th floor of the Crystal Beach Condo, we had a fab weekend away.

Mummy took Lochlan to swimming today  for what will become a regular love of his life...or else we will have to trade him in.

I heart Mexico

Lochlan is now nearly five months old and in that short time he's been to:

Sydney

Queensland

Miami

Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Dallas Texas

And soon Bali. But until then. 

He's visited with Papa and GG and won their hearts, got hugs and cuddles from Auntie Kyra, met and cuddled with the original GG in Queensland and of course cousin Jenna and the Moores of QLD.

Loving Mexico

Little Loch is just in love with Mexico. Can't get enough of it.  From the views of the ocean to the spectacular beach, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is número uno in his book. 

Lochlan's first trip Down Unda

He was a champ!  That's it, he settled in the bassinet on QF 24 and slept the whole night down. His brother on the other hand took a bit of time (2 1/2 hrs) to settle in for the ride. While Loch and Josh have a few weeks with Mars and Pa, here are some pics of the first few days.

At 9 weeks, Lochlan has gotten control of his facial muscles and loves giving daddy some big smiles. Such a cutie.
